That’s because when you shop here, you’re supporting those living with mental illness by supporting a great cause: Milwaukee’s Grand Avenue Club, a place where people living with mental illness can have fun, support each other and get the resources they need to thrive, 365 days a year.
WHO WE HELP
By shopping at the Water St. Boutique, you’re directly supporting Grand Avenue Club and its members. Working at the store provides club members with valuable job training as they prepare to re-enter the workforce.
Nearly 1 in 5 adults experiences mental illness at some point in their lives. The nonprofit Club is a safe, welcoming place where people living with mental illness can gather, build connections and find help reintegrating into the broader community. In addition to job training, the Club provides educational and housing support, and a way for members to be active participants in Milwaukee’s artistic and cultural life.
This Season’s Must-Have Donations: Summer Apparel
Summer has arrived in Milwaukee, and Water Street Boutique is currently looking for all new or gently used summer apparel. We are especially in need of both Men’s and Women’s shorts that will help keep our shoppers cool throughout the next few months.
